･How to see Drift Ice
Some tips to catch the drift ice.

Case 1, the ice on the sea but ship can not leave from port in the cause of strong wind or wave.
Case 2, weather is fine and ship can go to sea but ice does not come yet because the high temperature.
So if you desire to get on board and see the drift ice, check the ice condition and plan the not 1day stay in Abashiri.
Unfortunatily the ship can not leave the port, you may see the drift ice from seaside.
In recent years, the drift ice come in Feb, but we can not tell the next years. So feel free to ask us anytime, we will try to assist your plan.
